Powered by cutting-edge tech and a passion for play, we’re building a baseball ecosystem that brings people together across cities, countries, and continents. The plate is yours - step up and own it.

Who We’re Looking For
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Batbox, you’re a natural connector and confident communicator who thrives on opening doors and sparking opportunities. You’re not just reaching out - you’re laying the foundation for long-term partnerships that bring the Batbox experience to stadiums, resorts, airports, entertainment districts, and other high-traffic venues across the country.

Based in Dallas and reporting to the Director of Business Development, this hybrid role is all about proactive outreach, strategic lead generation, and high-energy prospect engagement. You’re skilled at crafting compelling pitches, qualifying leads, and moving prospects toward meaningful conversations.

Driven by Batbox’s core values - Be a Good Human, Amp the Experience, Lead Together, and Level Up - you’re motivated by building relationships, uncovering opportunity, and fueling our growth through connection.

Your Impact
  • Generate High-Quality Leads. You’ll identify and pursue new licensing and venue partnership opportunities in high-impact verticals like stadiums, entertainment districts, resorts, hotels, casinos, airports, and more - finding the right fit for Batbox to grow
  • Engage in Targeted Outreach. You’ll lead outbound prospecting through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn, and in-person networking - turning cold contacts into warm conversations with a strategic, high-energy approach
  • Qualify Opportunities Effectively. You’ll conduct thoughtful discovery calls that uncover prospect needs, assess fit, and move the right opportunities forward - tailoring your questions to each vertical, region, and business model
  • Deliver Impactful Pitches. You’ll present compelling, customized sales decks, ROI models, and product demos that clearly communicate Batbox’s value proposition and partnership potential
  • Manage a High-Integrity Pipeline. You’ll track all prospect activity in a product like HubSpot or Salesforce - maintaining an organized, up-to-date pipeline and ensuring timely follow-ups and handoffs
  • Execute Go-To-Market Campaigns. You’ll implement strategic outreach campaigns by region and industry vertical - ensuring we stay focused on the right markets and move efficiently through the sales funnel
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally. You’ll partner with the Business Development and Marketing teams to align messaging, share tools, and execute integrated sales efforts that drive results
  • Represent the Brand with Confidence. You’ll attend trade shows, expos, and activations as a Batbox ambassador - sparking interest, building relationships, and bringing our sportstainment story to life
  • Provide Market Intelligence. You’ll capture and share feedback from prospects to inform sales strategy, marketing messaging, and product enhancements - helping Batbox stay ahead of the curve and responsive to market needs
Keys to Success
  • You’re a prospector at heart. You don’t wait for leads to come to you - you’re constantly scanning for the next opportunity
  • You know how to spark interest. Whether it’s through cold outreach, LinkedIn, or an in-person event, you know how to get someone curious and keep them engaged
  • You’re curious and coachable. You ask the right questions, absorb feedback, and turn insights into action
  • You understand value. You can speak to ROI, tailor messages to your audience, and match Batbox’s value proposition to a venue’s business goals
  • You’re organized and accountable. You track your leads, follow up diligently, and hit your activity targets without being chased
  • You’re collaborative by nature. You keep communication tight with cross-functional teams, knowing that alignment is key to momentum
  • You’re energized by the Batbox mission. You believe in the future of Batbox and want to help build something legendary
Qualifications
  • Around 2–4 years of outbound B2B sales experience, ideally in sports, tech, SaaS, or experiential entertainment
  • A proven ability to generate leads and exceed outreach metrics (calls, meetings, qualified leads)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident presentation style
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and comfort in a tech-enabled sales environment
  • Willingness to travel (10–25%) for events, meetings, and site visits
  • A passion for baseball, sports, social gaming, or sportstainment is a major bonus

  • $55,000 - 70,000  USD base salary, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Health, dental and ancillary benefit options
  • Annual paid time off and paid company recognized holidays
  • Opportunity to work remotely for 1 out of 5 days a week
  • Be part of a rapidly expanding brand with plenty of room for advancement.
  • Work in a one-of-a-kind environment where everyday is legendary
